And last entry of the day, I promise.

There's a teeny moment ahead. I advise you all run for cover while you still can.
*hands out helmets to everyone*
Ok. Everyone ready?
*everyone nods*
*Jo takes a deep breath*

*Jo takes a seat*
A better translation for that would be this:
My brother got me No Doubt tickets for my birthday! I love him so much for that! And he might try to get me backstage! Yaaaaaaay! He was faking me out all along because he told me that they were sold out already. Ha.
'Nsync is coming here the same night. April 12th. I had the option to go to that as well. But um, I've been waiting 7 years for ND to come back here. I've been waiting since I was 10 years old. And they finally are. Oh man.
Ok. Put your helmets in the box on the right.

Blink 182 - First Date (me singing along) |
] |
So far it's been a good birthday. I've really just been working on my history project that's due tomorrow, and my friend (and ex-LJ user) Christina came over.
Oh what a lovely little gift she had for me. Thank God my parents were not home.
She comes in and hands me a box. I shake it and it makes a sound. Hmmm.
It was a vibrator.
Oh man.
*blushes*
Where is this glorious piece of machinery? At the bottom of my trunk where it will never again see the light of day.
Anyway.
So I'm 17 now. Wee! But I still have the mentality of a 12 year old. I guess some things will just never change. :)

All of a sudden I feel really angry. Pissed off at nothing.
What caused this...I'm just as clueless. Just a half an hour ago I was laughing and smiling...and now I'm ready to just strangle someone.
My stomach is killing me and my head feels like a pound of bricks.
I really need a hug.
*cries*

Dear Michael Greene:
I'm perfectly content downloading my music, thankyouverymuch. If I want to download, then dammit, I will. Now I think I'll scamper off to use Morpheus.
Anyone know of some good songs to get?
- Joanny
Hehe, ok. The Grammys. I didn't get to see as much I hoped. I started off down in the basement. I also went way back and used my Mac! Read old chats! Hehehe. Mikey! I'm so sorry! I was reading one of the chats and was like "Oh man! I was such a hostile little bitch towards him!" At least that's what I thought. I felt so mean. I'm so sorry. But you know you're my most favorite person in the world. *HUG*
Where was I? Oh yeah. I was in the basement, got kicked out by my dad, went upstairs and watched in the kitchen for about a half hour or so when Hurricane Mama came in and crashed the party. So I went upstairs and watched in my parents room. She then left to go to the store, so I came back down and chatted while watching. She then suprised me and gave me the bitching of a lifetime when she got home, so I went back upstairs. Watched until the end, and that was it.
- I'm sick. Sick of you, Alicia Keys. - Dave! Dave! I love that man. Oh so much. That song is beautiful. - Lady Marmalade was good until the end with the disrobing. - Britney's dress. The best thing I've ever seen her in. - No offense to anyone, but classic U2 is much better than what they have out now. I still love them though. - Nelly Furtado was suprisingly good. I liked how low-key the performance was. - Mary J. was incredible. I had that song in my head most of the day today. - 'Nsync. Um, I really wasn't paying much attention to the TV when they performed. So I have not much to say about them. I was hoping they'd win something though.
Oh man I am so hyper right now it's not even funny. I don't even feel the need to use proper grammar. Eeeeeeesh.
Alright, bye until later. *hugs*
I never know how to end these things.

The Juliana Theory - Nice Boy |
] |
I have the stomach flu, so I'm home today. Staying home is nice, but having to lie on your stomach for hours is not. Oh well, my brother caught it too, so I have good company.
Um...
Peter is the best damned person/therapist/sidekick there ever was. You should all like him even more than you do now.
I read an article this morning about left handed people (me) and it was harsh, man. "The word for left or left-handed is synonymous with awkward, untrustworthy, or evil." I'm not like that! Ok, I can be definitely awkward at times, but eesh.
Oh, but I did find out that Fidel Castro is left handed.
*[crickets chirp]*
I can't decide. I like them both.
Yes! This must be the most boring entry I've ever written. I'm sorry. :'(

And now I bring more Olde English fun with me and my brother.
Well, it was actually really short but still damn funny.

Joanny: So how be the adventure of Sir Travis and his battle with Enriquelon? John: Ay, Sir Travis and his band of merry men, surely nsync with one another, have had hardships while in battle with the horrid creature Enriquelon. John: They traveled into Otown on their mighty steeds, only to see a bare and empty village, scorching at the temperature of 98 degrees. John: But alas! Sir Travis and his mighty eye saw a creature lurk in the shadows! John: He pulled out the mighty sword Shakira, and shouted to his men "Let us go down the backstreet, boys!" Joanny: My, they are quite brave. John: Ay. Joanny: What happened next? John: That tale is for another time. Head off to your chamber and receive some rest. Joanny: I shall...not.

You know boredom has come full circle when you put a playlist together based solely on numerical songs and artists.
*sigh*
I'm at a loss for words right now, I really have nothing to tell. No stories, no thoughts as of yet. I'm pretty much brain dead this morning. This past week was a confusing one, I worried a lot about certain things. But I've been reassured and I've gotten over it. So I won't have to spend this weekend as a nervous wreck, pulling my hair out over things. That's great.
My bagel is done. Bye!

QUESTION!
A stupid one, yes, but I couldn't help but wonder if anyone else but me remembered the show "Just Wait 'Til Your Father Gets Home."
I remember when my cousins came over, we'd stay up late to watch it and fun was had by all.
I was looking for the theme song but I found nothing. :(

My first ever LJ entry:

Date: June 16, 2001 Title: My First Time Time: 8:12 PM
Yep, my first entry in my brand-spankin' new online journal. I "borrowed" this idea from rachaelhatesbee who seems really cool. But instead of waiting for monthly updates on SLF I'm gonna put stuff in this baby every day.
So stay tuned for tomorrow and the drama that goes on in my life. Yeah right...

Foo Fighters - Walking After You |

Lacie and I were talking about A Walk To Remember and this happened:
Jo: Duuuuuude. Only Hope has to be one of the greatest songs I've heard. Lacie: Ah! I was just going to say that! Lacie: Mindtwin! Jo: Yay! Jo: I love both versions. They're just so great. Lacie: You have to download both versions. The Mandy one and the Switchfoot one. Lacie: Ah! Mindtwin again! Jo: lol Jo: I have them both. Lacie: Oh man, that has to be LJ material, that is so freaky.
And so that was it, even though neither of us were listening to it at the time. *points to current music*

I was checking my mail earlier, and I wound up getting one of those Crush On You deals that Peter happened to send out. I've been giggling like a twelve year old since.
TRL. Please stop. Sometimes being a cultural phenomenon doesn't exactly work well with the people who've been there since the beginning. You're the show with an ego. Even though I haven't watched one episode in it's entirety since November, I'm done with you.
Wade made a good point. I may be dateless on Thursday, but really, wallowing in misery does not sound fun. Love comes when it comes, and I won't rush it. Patience is a virtue. And when it does come, it will be wonderful.
Um, I'll still be having my Ben & Jerry's though. But just because I love my Ben & Jerry's. World's Best Chocolate, baby. It's already in the freezer.

Get Up Kids - Mass Pike |
] |
You know when you have those days when you wake up and just know that the day is going to be crappy as all hell? I guess I'm just having one of those days.
I've learned that there is nothing like waking up in your own room, because last night I had to sleep on the couch. Yesterday they dragged my old mattress to the curb and have yet to bring my new one upstairs, so it was downstairs for me. I'm just so accustomed to waking up and staring out the window for ten minutes.
The first thing I saw this morning was my brother passed out on the floor. Another night of debauchery, eh Johnny? :)
Before school started, I was hanging out with my friend Peter and he brought me a Valentine cupcake. Awwww. There was a plastic ring in it, so he licked off the frosting and tried to put it on my finger, but the ring turned out to be too small and it broke. :( Oh well, maybe I'll stop by the bakery again later.
I left school early today just because I really didn't feel like staying any longer. I left my notebook in the car, my white shirt turned a light blue in the washing machine and I got crap for that, and...I just couldn't take it any more. So I called my mom and just left. This is great though. Except for the fact that my brother is home also, but that's okay. I can deal. :)
But the Get Up Kids make me happy. *points to current music* You should get this song if you don't have it. It's damn great, that's for sure. :)
